Town's U18s lost 4-2 against a physical Millwall side in an entertaining game at Bent Lane on Saturday morning. Blair Hammond and Kieran Leabon scored the Town goals.

Town's shareholders have started receiving their copies of the club's Annual Report and Accounts for 2004 ahead of the AGM on November 17th. The club reported a net loss of £480,000 for the year ending June 2004.

Town look set to be without three senior players when they face Burnley at Portman Road on Saturday. Kelvin Davis is still suffering with his back problem, Darren Bent has been sent to have a scan on the hamstring injury picked up while on England U21 duty, while Fabian Wilnis is suspended.

Midfielder Ian Westlake is in the reserve side which faces Norwich City at Portman Road this evening. Westlake has failed to hit the same form as last season so far in 2004/05 and was withdrawn from the England U21 squad last week so he could remain at Town.

An 86th minute own goal from teenage loanee Matt Mills gave the Blues a 2-1 win at Coventry and took them to second in the table, Patrick Suffo having equalised Dean Bowditch's opener shortly beforehand. Despite the fortunate nature of the winning goal, the Blues fully deserved the three points.

Ten-man Town battled to a 3-2 victory after going two goals down within 13 minutes against newly-promoted Plymouth. Sub Shefki Kuqi netted twice late on after Fabian Wilnis had been shown a straight red card in the first half, after Jason De Vos had pulled a goal back for the Blues.

A lacklustre Town bowed out of the Carling Cup at the second round stage after suffering a 2-0 defeat at Doncaster Rovers. Ricky Ravenhill netted the first in the seventh minute and Jermaine McSporran added to the home side's lead in the first attack of the second half.
